Poland’s Sinfonia Iuventus youth orchestra will perform June 22 at the Polish Radio Concert Studio in Warsaw. The concert will be conducted by the orchestra’s director, Tadeusz Wojciechowski.

Sinfonia Iuventus was established five years ago by the Ministry of Culture as a national youth orchestra. The performers are under 30 years of age and include the most talented students and alumni of Polish music academies. The orchestra has worked with some of the finest Polish and foreign conductors, such as John Axelrod, Kai Bumann and Krzysztof Penderecki.

Sinfonia Iuventus has performed at famous concert halls and numerous music festivals in Poland, Austria, China, France, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Switzerland, Lithuania, Ukraine and Italy. It has been a member of the European Federation of National Youth Orchestras since 2009.
