Singer Tito Paris, who hails from Cape Verde, will give two concerts at the Studio Theater in Warsaw June 13.

Paris performs music popular in the Portuguese-speaking world, delivering a combination of genres such as coladeira, morna and funana along with contemporary Portuguese music and world music. Portugal’s fado songstress Mariza has praised him as the most talented singer from Cape Verde and a duet with Paris is featured on her Terra album.

Born and raised in Cape Verde, Paris has for many years lived in Lisbon. He used to manage the famous Club B. Leza in the Portuguese capital, where some of the finest Cape Verde artists have given legendary concerts. His musical collaborations include those with the likes of Mariza, Nancy Vieira, Paulo Flores and Polish female vocalist Anna Maria Jopek.

June 13, 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
