Walesa appeals for more practical democracy in Poland

"Practical democracy" in Poland is still below 50% of the potential, former Polish President and Nobel peace prize laureate Lech Walesa said in a speech delivered on Tuesday at the 13th World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates in Warsaw.
The one-time president reiterated the postulate to create "ten secular commandments" that would provide values for building a fairer world. "Let's build on values. This world can really be better," Walesa said.
