The Holiday Inn Warsaw Józefów is a typical MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events) hotel. It is conveniently located 25 km south of Warsaw’s center amid the Mazovian Scenic Park on 11 hectares of picturesque land.

“The hotel is ideally suited for organizing conferences, workshops and banquets and its main conference hall can cater for up to 600 people. Picnics outdoors can accommodate up to 1,000 guests,” said Rafał Kuczyński, the general manager. “Our conference areas are very versatile; we recently had a corporate event featuring a vehicle that literally drove into the conference hall. Also, last year the hotel hosted the 13th Congress of Management of District Roads, which included a display of bulky and very heavy machinery and equipment. We also have big product launches and corporate promotions at the hotel.”

The hotel is one of a few such venues in Poland that has its own golf course and offers canoeing, quad rides and other team-building events for corporate clients and hotel guests. “Having such activities on site is an obvious advantage,” said James Hancock, the hotel’s sales and marketing director. “It means that everything is on one site, which saves time and the expensive logistics that would be needed to transfer groups to other locations to enjoy such activities.”

Apart from corporate events, the Holiday Inn Warsaw Józefów also caters to families with children and to individual guests who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city.

Celebrities, film stars and actors come here to relax and enjoy the Jacuzzi and La Perla SPA clinic. Hotel guests have included Polish showbusiness celebrities such as Małgorzata Socha, Anna Mucha, Ewa Gawryluk, Radosław Majdan, Waldemar Błaszczyk, Karol Strasburger and Grzegorz Markowski. The 1996 Olympic gold medalist in sailing, Mateusz Kusznierewicz, is a regular at the hotel’s golf course.

The Holiday Inn Warsaw Józefów takes pride in the fact that during the Euro 2012 soccer championships it was nominated by UEFA as an official host hotel. Last June the hotel hosted foreign soccer fans—whole delegations and individuals from Russia and Scandinavian countries.

Kuczyński says he is proud that every year the hotel wins awards and special distinctions, for example in the IHG Quality Excellence Awards and the IHG Torch Bearer Awards, as well as being named top hotel in the hotel for children category. It was also named 2012 Hotel of the Year in the SPA category by Forbes and Newsweek.
