Poland’s public sector dominated by women - report

Women visibly dominate in public sector jobs in Poland, the daily Gazeta Wyborcza writes citing data from social insurance board ZUS and other sources.
Of the people employed at ZUS in 2012, as many as 86.01% were women, according to a recent report from the institution. Of the total 3.5 million employees of the public sector, 1 million work in education and another 500,000 in health care - two sectors traditionally dominated by women.
