Song and Dance on the Sixth Floor

Legendary Polish folk song and dance ensemble Mazowsze will give several performances at Warsaw’s 6.Piętro (6th Floor) Theater in July as part of the “Higher Level of Music” series of summer music concerts.

Launched more than 60 years ago, Mazowsze is one of the oldest and most recognizable folk ensembles in the world. It wows audiences on all continents, promoting Polish culture.

The 6.Piętro Theater, based on the 6th floor of Warsaw’s landmark Palace of Culture, boasts one of the best stages in Poland in acoustic terms. The auditorium is also small, which gives viewers a rare opportunity to see Mazowsze from close up as they take in its special artistic program featuring a unique mix of vigor, vitality and professionalism.

Mazowsze in numbers: 100 performers, 1,500 costumes, 7,000 shows, 23 million viewers, 187 cities and towns visited across Poland, and 233 concert tours abroad.
