Art Must Be Beautiful, a new exhibition at Warsaw’s Spectra Art Space gallery, showcases work by some of the most accomplished Polish artists of the latter half of the 20th century.

The collection is owned by a contemporary art gallery in the northwestern city of Szczecin and is one of Poland’s best modern art collections. It includes pieces by artists such as Izabella Gutowska, Marek Kurak and Zygmunt Rytka.

The Spectra Art Space gallery is an experimental venue housed in an office building on Bobrowiecka Street in Warsaw. As you watch the exhibition, make sure you check out the building itself. Its remarkable design is listed in a prestigious publication entitled The Phaidon Atlas of 21st Century World Architecture.

The exhibition is open to the public every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. On the first Saturday of every month, visitors are taken on a guided tour by the exhibition’s curator.

Until Sept. 14
