August 29, 2013
Article's tools:

Faced with rapid economic, social and cultural changes taking place around us, we need to constantly acquire new skills and knowledge.

The Cracow School of Business at Cracow University of Economics offers around 70 postgraduate programmes that range from finance, accounting and auditing to marketing and corporate management, real estate and trade. Topics which will be discussed during the European Forum for New Ideas include the future of young people and job opportunities for them. These issues are addressed by courses at the Cracow School of Business CUE, which allow students to change their line of work and obtain new qualifications. In other words, our programmes give our students greater flexibility and competitiveness on the labour market.

Our MBA programmes are designed for people with managerial experience. Programmes focus on practice, development of managerial skills and ability to work as part of a group, which allows students to exchange their experience and make new professional contacts. MBA programmes currently available at the Cracow School of Business CUE are: the Executive MBA Programme, conducted jointly with the Stockholm University School of Business in Sweden, and the International MBA Programme, a joint project with the St. Gallen Business School in Switzerland. Our programmes have made it to the top 10 of the Perspektywy 2013 MBA league table and they are the best in southern Poland.

Young people who want to pursue a career in business will be interested in the newest programme offered by the School - the MBA CSB+Master Programme conducted together with Clark University from the United States. The Programme majors are: MBA in Managerial Communication+Master, MBA in Healthcare Management+Master and MBA in HR Management+Master.

All programmes and courses offered by the Cracow School of Business CUE address the needs of local and international companies and changes triggered by the economic crisis.

Additionally, important meetings of academics, business people and politicians tackle challenges of global importance during major conventions such as the Economic Forum in Krynica and the International MBA Congress in Cracow. The information exchanged and the needs discussed during these events shape decisions which aim is to support sustainable development of enterprises and the academic community. Such initiatives are crucial, because they bring together people from different sectors of the business, political and academic communities.

During this year’s Economic Forum in Krynica, officials from the Cracow University of Economics are planning to take part in one of the panel discussions in order to actively join in the work on new ideas rather than passively analyse what has been achieved so far.
