Poland’s lower house appeals for dialog in Ukraine
December 4, 2013
The Polish MPs adopted a resolution by acclamation in the Sejm lower house on Tuesday appealing to Ukraine's authorities and opposition to urgently start talks aimed at reaching a national agreement on the European integration.
"The Sejm of the Republic of Poland expresses deep concern about the escalation of the political and social situation in Ukraine after its authorities unilaterally suspended the association negotiations with the European Union," the PMs wrote in the resolution.
The MPs also condemned the use of force against pro-EU protesters in Kiev.
