Irish singer-songwriter Sinead O’Connor, one of the most recognizable figures on the international music scene, is coming to Poland to give a one-night-only concert at the Kongresowa Hall in Warsaw.

O’Connor has been a music icon for over 25 years. She has over a dozen albums under her belt. The latest, How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?, was released last year.

Her music career took off in 1987 with the hit song “Mandinka” and then O’Connor made music history with the multi-platinum album I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got (1990), which included her cover version of “Nothing Compares 2U,” a song by Prince. The track topped hit and sales charts in 17 countries around the world. In the years that followed, O’Connor worked with other musicians and released albums on which she experimented with music genres such as Irish folk (Sean-Nós Nua in 2002) and roots reggae (Throw Down Your Arms in 2005). Her music collaborations to date have included the likes of Peter Gabriel, Massive Attack, Roger Waters, The Chieftains, Asian Dub Foundation, Burning Spear, and Sly & Robbie.
