December 5, 2013
Poland’s Defense Ministry is in talks with the French-German-Spanish aerospace and defense corporation EADS on taking over a 1-2% stake in the group, the daily Dziennik Gazeta Prawna reports.
Such a solution is being considered, National Defense Ministry spokesperson Jacek Sonta said.
EADS Vice President Fabrice Lievin refused to comment but said that in the firm's new strategy to be published in 2014 Poland would be named one of its five most important markets.
Poland plans PLN 130 billion investments in arms to 2022.
