Paris-based Swedish vocalist Fredrika Stahl will give a concert at Warsaw’s Palladium Club Dec. 10.

One of the most popular performers of new jazz music and so-called intelligent pop, Stahl is frequently mentioned in the same breath as Nora Jones, Lisa Ekdahl and Regina Spector. Her refined compositions and powerful vocals have also earned her comparisons to Kate Bush. In her songs, Stahl combines jazz with pop, soul, blues, swing and alternative music.

In April Stahl released her fourth self-penned album, Off to Dance, on the Sony Music label. According to both critics and audiences, the new album shows Stahl as a highly inventive and creative artist. Off to Dance has spawned a single entitled “Willow,” which has been played on many radio channels in many countries, including Poland, since spring.
