Atrium Copernicus Expands

The Atrium Copernicus shopping center in the northern city of Toruń, Kujawy-Pomerania province, will offer 50,000 sq m of leasable space and house 145 retail and service outlets after it is expanded in a project that began in July and is due to be completed in the final quarter of next year. After it is expanded, the center will become the largest shopping mall in Toruń.
The section being expanded will be 17,000 sq m in size and home to more than 50 new stores, service outlets, restaurants and cafes.
As part of the expansion project, a two-level parking garage for over 500 cars has been built. There are plans to create 300 more parking spaces for customers underground. Altogether, the center will offer 1,400 parking spaces after it is expanded.
Atrium Copernicus is in the center of Toruń on Żółkiewskiego Street. It currently houses 90 retail outlets operated by tenants including Real, Media Markt, Grakula, H&M, Reserved, Camaieu, Carry, Promod and Simple.
