December 11, 2013
Preliminary figures indicate that the state budget recorded a monthly surplus in November, deputy Finance Minister Wojciech Kowalczyk said on Tuesday.
"Initial results indicate that the state budget had a monthly surplus in November. It results from higher tax revenues and lower spending," Kowalczyk said.
The budget deficit amounted to PLN 39.48 billion after October 2013,
with expenditure of PLN 271.0 billion and receipts of PLN 231.52 billion, according to the final data from the Finance Ministry.
