Imany, a charismatic female vocalist from France, is coming to Poland in November to give two concerts in Warsaw and Cracow.

Hailing from the Comoros archipelago near Madagascar, Imany had her big break in France. Her phenomenal voice wowed audiences with a Billy Holiday-esque style and a melancholic quality reminiscent of Tracy Chapman. Imany has performed energetic concerts to packed houses, singing personal and sincere songs that blend acoustic folk with soul and blues. The singer delivers a powerful combination of melancholy and positive energy that strikes a special chord with listeners.

Imany’s debut album, Shapes of a Broken Heart, proved a huge commercial success and went triple platinum. In the summer, Imany won the Amber Nightingale award at the Sopot Top of the Top Festival for the song “You Will Never Know.”

The Warsaw concert will take place at the Stodoła club Nov. 27 and two days later, Imany will perform at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow.
