Main opposition PiS still leads in voter support poll

Polish ruling party, the liberal Civic Platform (PO), enjoyed a 4 pps gain in its voter support to 25% in the latest December survey by Homo Homini researcher, with backing for its major rival and poll leader, conservative Law and Justice (PiS), edging down by 2 pps to 29%.

Voter support for left-wing party Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) edged down by 1 pp to 13%, according to the poll.

Junior coalition partner Polish People’s Party (PSL) saw its support increase by 1 pp to 5% of the electorate, at 5% threshold required to enter the parliament.

Twoj Ruch (Your Movement), the new incarnation of the liberal Palikot Movement, saw its support edge down by 2 pps to 2%.

The poll was conducted on December 18 on a representative sample of 1,100 Poles.
