During a visit to Warsaw Nov. 6, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry met with American and Polish businesspeople, telling them that Poland is one of the most attractive investment destinations internationally.

During the meeting, which was hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland, Kerry spoke about economic relations between Poland and the United States, focusing on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), a new trade agreement between the United States and the European Union, which could become the broadest trade agreement in the world. He also encouraged businesspeople to promote the idea of the TTIP in Europe.

Kerry praised Poland for its economic reforms since the fall of communism in 1989 and also praised the Polish economy for being one of the few worldwide to have resisted recession.
