New York Voices, an American quartet belonging to world’s vocal elite of jazz will perform on December 27 at the St. John’s Archcathedral in Warsaw.

The group was formed in 1987 from an Ithaca College alumni group. They released their first, self-titled album on GRP Records in 1989.

They won a Grammy award for their 1996 collaboration with the Count Basie Orchestra, “Count Basie Orchestra with New York Voices Live at Manchester Craftsmen's Guild”.

The New York Voices have to date released seven studio albums, all blends of classical, pop, R&B, Brazilian and American jazz.

The group consists of four musicians: Darmon Meader, Kim Nazarian, Peter Eldridge oraz Lauren Kinhan who individually have their own solo careers.

During a concert in Warsaw the audience will hear such Christmas specials as „Let It Snow”, „Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, „Silent Night”, „O, little town of Bethlehem” among others.
