LOT to receive millions in compensation for Dreamliners - report

Polish airline LOT will receive PLN 90 million in compensation from Boeing for delays and difficulties with the Dreamliner, including PLN 60 million in cash, the first installment of which has already gone to LOT the daily Puls Biznesu reported.

CEO Sebastian Mikosz would not confirm the details, but did admit that the solution is "satisfying."

LOT may have cut its operational loss to PLN 20 million by end-year, well below an initial plan for a PLN 136 million loss. The target is for a PLN 71 million operational profit in 2014.
