Real estate services company Jones Lang LaSalle has been appointed property manager of the Forum Gliwice shopping and entertainment center in the southern city of Gliwice, Silesia province. The company is responsible for the supervision of operational, technical, financial and marketing processes as well as asset recommercialization.

The owner of Forum Gliwice, German investment fund Deka Immobilien GmbH, entrusted these responsibilities to Jones Lang LaSalle at the beginning of November.

Forum Gliwice is strategically located in the center of one of the most dynamically developing cities in the Silesia region, in an area bounded by Lipowa, Opolska, Traugutta and Witkiewicza streets. The center, commissioned for use in June 2007, is located within a 15-minute drive from the Gliwice-Sośnica freeway junction.

The 43,000-sq-m facility accommodates 140 retail and service outlets. The property's tenant portfolio includes Carrefour as well as popular Polish and international fashion brands such as Reserved and Mohito from the LPP group portfolio, and Zara and Bershka from the Inditex portfolio. One of the main selling points of the center is its entertainment amenities, which include a 13-screen Cinema City multiplex, a gym and other sports facilities as well as numerous cafes and restaurants.
