Polish construction firms are out of the woods and are expected to benefit from the expected economic recovery in 2014, analysts surveyed by the daily Parkiet said.

Sentiment in the sector should be improved by prospects of new tenders for investments within the new EU 2014-2020 perspective. Analysts differ as to the rate of growth of the construction market.

DM PKO BP analyst Piotr Lopaciuk expects a nearly 3% decline in 2014 versus some 10% decline in 2013. Construction sector researcher PAB-PCR&F expect a 3.5% rebound in the sector in 2014 versus some 8.9% decline estimated by the researcher for 2013.
