Poland allocates most EU cohesion policy funds for nationwide programs

The Polish government will spend some EUR 45.6 billion in EU cohesion policy funds from the 2014-2020 budgetary perspective on six national operating programs approved by the government on Wednesday, including PLN 27.5 billion on the biggest program "Infrastructure and Development," the government information center CIR said in a statement.
According to information provided earlier by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development, Poland will receive a total of PLN 82.5 billion in EU cohesion policy funds in the 2014-2020 perspective.
Apart from six nationwide programs, the government will distribute EU funds via 16 regional programs.
