Breathing New Life into Wola

Made in Wola, an independent café-cum-club with a distinctly bohemian feel, has opened at the Scena na Woli theater, replacing the former café at the site. The managers are El¿bieta Komorowska and Adam Rejnhard, who established the popular W Oparach Absurdu and Sen Pszczo³y clubs in Warsaw’s Praga district.

Komorowska and Rejnhard wanted to open a vibrant, colorful venue to breathe new life into the Wola neighborhood. The café has undergone a complete makeover and offers theater-goers a quick bite to eat and a drink before a play but also a variety of cultural events such as concerts, photography exhibitions, arts and crafts fairs, debates and book launches.

During the day, Made in Wola serves lunch and coffee, which you can enjoy while reading a book from the local mini-bookstore and listening to music from a vintage record player. The menu includes fried herring, hummus, duck with apple mousse, tofu fried in ginger oil and grilled camembert cheese with maple syrup.
