Kapelanka 42 Office Complex Gets First Tenants

Skanska Property Poland, the owner of the Kapelanka 42 office and retail complex in Cracow, has signed its first lease agreements with tenants who will set up shop at the site - Tesco, Apriso and Olimp Arena. Local Skanska Group companies will also have their offices in the complex.

Tesco, the international hypermarket chain, will move into the complex in December. It will occupy 2,500 sq m of office space. Apriso, a subsidiary of Dassault Systemes, a leading supplier of software for companies from the aviation, defense, automotive and electronics industries, will occupy 2,440 sq m. Olimp Arena will operate a canteen occupying around 520 sq m. Skanska offices will occupy 1,400 sq m.

Kapelanka 42 will be a modern grade A office complex. It will be composed of two buildings, each with nine stories above ground and three underground. The complex will have a combined space of around 30,000 sq m. It is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2014.

Kapelanka 42 has LEED Gold precertification. It was designed by the Medusa Group architectural practice. The general contractor is Skanska SA while Skanska Property Poland is responsible for leasing the property out to tenants.
