Consumer optimism is visibly on the rise as evident in the number of clients of travel agencies booking their holidays for the summer of 2014, the daily Rzeczpospolita reported.
The sector expects to break a turnover record this year at PLN 5 billion, as sales will rise by nearly 20% year on year, according to TravelData estimates.
The number of clients should increase by at least 15%.
The number of people booking summer holidays by January 6 was already nearly 100% higher than in the same period a year ago.
