January 17, 2014
Poland should enjoy a GDP growth increase to some 3% in 2014 from an estimated 1.5% in 2013, Finance Ministry's chief economist Ludwik Kotecki said on Thursday.
"We expect the GDP growth rate to accelerate to some 3% this year," Kotecki told PAP Polish news agency.
The 2013 result should measure 1.5%, as Q4 growth likely accelerated to 2.4% from 1.9% in Q3, the official also said.
Poland's 2014 budget is built on 2.5% GDP growth and 2.4% average annual inflation.
