Primal Fear Are Back
January 30, 2014
Article's tools:

Primal Fear, a German power metal and speed metal band, are playing two concerts in Poland in February.

Regarded as one of the most important groups of the second wave of power metal, Primal Fear was formed in 1997 by charismatic vocalist Ralf Scheepers. Together with his fellow band members Mat Sinner (bass), Randy Black (drums) and Henny Wolter (guitar), Scheepers is heavily inspired by Judas Priest. Primal Fear deliver a combination of high-energy speed metal and strong tunes, the trademark of power metal.

In January, Primal Fear released their 10th album, Delivering the Black, which has taken them on a European tour that includes two gigs in Poland: in Warsaw and Katowice. Primal Fear have visited Poland before. In 2005, they played in Chorzów, sharing the stage with Iron Maiden, and two years ago, they played concerts in Wrocław and Gdańsk with Swedish heavy metal group Sabaton.

For their Polish concerts, Primal Fear are teaming up with Bullet, a Swedish group who play a blend of heavy metal and hard rock. The support act is Messenger, a heavy-metal group from Germany.
