Technologically advanced compact cameras from Olympus have long been referred to as the Stylus group, but the Stylus 1 is the first Olympus camera to be given the name officially. This meticulously manufactured premium camera combines attractive design with specifications that make the most of new technology. It might be small at just 116x87x57 millimeters, but its weight of 402 grams (with the battery and memory stick) says a lot about the quality of the materials the camera is made of, including a full metal body. The lens cover efficiently protects the camera’s optical elements from dirt and damage and its clever design prevents it from being misplaced or lost.
The Stylus 1 is fitted with the proven, high-performance TruePic VI processor used in other Olympus models such as the PEN E-P5 and OM-D E-M5.
