Polish banks to ease lending criteria for consumer and SME loans

Polish banks expect to further loosen lending criteria for small and medium companies, and slightly loosen those for consumer loans in Q1, a survey on the credit market situation carried out by the central bank NBP shows.
In the case of housing loans, on the other hand, Polish banks expect to tighten significantly their lending policy, the survey shows
Banks expect increase in demand for all types of corporate loans but in particular for long-term lending.
In the case of housing loans, the banks plan to "significantly tighten credit policy" in Q1, while demand is expected to increase.
