Poland's 2014 GDP growth seen at 3 pct, inflation at 2pct

Poland's GDP growth will likely amount to 3% year on year in 2014, while the country's average annual inflation will accelerate to 2% this year, the Economy Ministry said.

In GDP breakdown, total consumption is expected to grow by 2.3% in 2014, with individual consumption growth seen at 2.5%. Investments, in turn, are expected to grow by 3% y/y this year, the Economy Ministry forecasts show.

Industrial output is expected to grow by 6% in 2014, with construction output growth seen at 3.5%.

Unemployment at end-year is expected to reach 13.5%, the forecasts also show.
