PGNiG finds natural gas deposit in southeastern Poland

Natural gas firm PGNiG discovered a deposit of high-methane natural gas estimated at several billion cubic meters and expects to launch production from the deposit in H2 2015, PGNiG said on Wednesday.
PGNiG expects gas output from the deposit to reach 100,000 cubic meters daily in the first year of extraction, the statement reads.
The company is now conducting works on documenting the deposit and plans several new exploration-extraction wells, the statement reads.
At the same time, PGNiG is working on launching production from four existing wells, the firm also said.
The new deposit was discovered in the Zalesie-Jodlowka-Skopow license in Podkarpackie region, southeastern Poland.
