Pengab edges up in February

Poland's banking sentiment indicator Pengab edged up by 0.1 pts m/m in February to 27.6 pts, according to the Union of Polish Banks (ZBP) and market researcher TNS Polska.
The current indicator declined by 5.6 pts m/m to 17.7 pts, while the forecast indicator gained 5.9 pts to 37.6 pts.
Longer term, in a 6-month horizon, net expectations for housing loans are at 72%, up 9 pps m/m. Forecasts for consumer loans increased 4 pps to 72%. Forecasts for investment loans for businesses increased by 2 pps to 80%, and forecasts for working capital loans were flat at 76%.
