Polish manufacturing surges

Poland's manufacturing sector purchasing managers' index PMI rose to 55.9 points in February from 55.4 points in January, which signals the strongest overall improvement in the manufacturing sector since December 2010 , a PMI report by HSBC and Markit showed.
Rapid increase in new orders stands out in the February reading as it provided the fastest since April 2004 and second strongest in the survey history, the report reads.
Export demand grew at the fastest pace in over three years. The surge in orders increased employment levels at companies in February. New jobs were created at the fastest rate since May 2007.
Purchasing activity was the highest in ten years while backlogs decreased for the 33rd consecutive month.
