Polish equity market recovers from Monday declines

Warsaw large-cap indices managed to make up a part of very heavy losses suffered on Monday, with the WIG20 closing on Tuesday up by 2.22% and the WIG30 ending the day with a 2.59% gain.
Ukrainian edible oils producer Kernel and chemicals group Grupa Azoty led the gainers with 9%+ share price increases, followed by representatives of the consumer discretionary sector: LPP fashion and CCC footwear, which recorded gains of over 5%.
All members of the WIG30 index recorded share price increases on Tuesday.
Turnover amounted to PLN 985.7 just after 17.00 local time.
