Over 1,000 pieces of art including paintings, sculptures and work by famous Polish photographers will be on show during the Warsaw Art Fair Oct. 10-12.

The event, now in its 12th year, takes place in the Kubicki Arcades of the Royal Castle in Warsaw. The organizers say the fair, which draws crowds of collectors and art lovers, is one of the biggest events of its type in Poland.

During the three days of the fair there will be debate involving experts entitled “The art of investing in art” and a lecture on the work of AndrzejWróblewski, a leading figure in Polish postwar painting.

The fair kicks off at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 10, and lasts until 5 p.m. on Sunday
