PO overtakes rival PIS in voter support poll

Poland's governing party Civic Platform (PO) enjoyed a slight increase in its voter support, by 1 ppt to 26% in March, and edged out the chief opposition party, conservative Law and Justice (PiS), whose support fell by 2 pps to 24%, the latest survey from the CBOS institute shows.
Support for junior coalition partner Polish People’s Party (PSL) held flat at 4%, below the 5% threshold required for entering the parliament, the poll results showed.
Support for left-wing Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) edged down one notch to 7%.
Twoj Ruch (Your Movement), the new incarnation of the leftist-liberal Palikot Movement, saw its voter support hold at 3%.
