Finance ministry to tax foreign units of Polish firms

Polish companies which have units registered abroad will have to pay 19% tax once their units generate EUR 250,000 annual revenues, the latest version of amendments to PIT and CIT law prepared by the Finance Ministry said.
The scale of tax evasion by companies via transfer of revenues to foreign units is large, the Finance Ministry said. However, the potential effects of taxing foreign units for the budget are hard to estimate.
