Retailer Lidl Polska expects to increase its revenues above the PLN 10+ billion figure reported in 2013 and eyes opening over 30 stores and a new distribution centre in 2014, management board member Radoslaw Liberski said.

"In fiscal year 2013, which ended February 28, 2014, we surpassed PLN 10 billion net revenues," Liberski said. "In 2012 turnover amounted to PLN 8.7 billion. We expect positive tendencies on the market this year and further growth of our sales."

Lidl plans to open over 30 stores this year and maintain this growth pace in the following years, the official added.

Lidl Polska currently has over 500 stores in Poland, as well as seven distribution centers.
