Long-distance bus operator PolskiBus.com has enlarged its fleet to 132 vehicles, enabling it to offer over 300 services daily to 22 cities in Poland and five European capitals.

Owned by Souter Holdings Poland, PolskiBus.com launched operations in Poland three years ago and has since carried over 8 million passengers and created 730 jobs. The company has been growing rapidly and in August it opened routes to three new destinations: Szczecin in northwest Poland, the northwestern city of Gorzów Wielkopolski, and the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius. The company has also increased the frequency of services on previously existing routes.

PolskiBus.com recently spent zl.35 million on 20 state-of-the-art ADL Plaxton Elite i buses built on a Volvo B11R chassis. The comfortable 75-seat vehicles are fitted with high-performance and environmentally-friendly Volvo engines with low CO2 emission levels. Passengers are offered free wireless internet access and power sockets under the seats to charge their laptops and cell phones. All seats have reclining backrests, leather upholstery and three-point seatbelts. The buses are air-conditioned, disabled-friendly and have a toilet. “We do believe that we will be able to convince even more car users to take advantage of our affordable services between cities onboard our comfortable buses,” said Barry Pybis, general manager of PolskiBus.com.

The company offers services to 22 cities in Poland: Białystok, Bydgoszcz, Częstochowa, Gdańsk, Katowice, Kielce, Cracow, Lublin, ŁódĽ, Olsztyn, Opole, Ostrowiec ¦więtokrzyski, Ostróda, Poznań, Radom, Rzeszów, Szczecin, Toruń, Warsaw, Gorzów Wielkopolski, Wrocław and Zakopane. The company also operates six international routes, taking passengers to Berlin, Berlin’s Schönefeld airport, Bratislava, Prague, Vienna and Vilnius.
