Polish top bank PKO BP's Ukrainian unit Kredobank closed down four of its six branches in Crimea over the past two weeks, the bank's strategy and investment director Pawel Borys told PAP Polish news agency.
"Our presence in the eastern part of the country and in Crimea is very small," Borys said. "In Crimea alone we had six branches, four of which we decided to shut over the past two weeks."
The remaining two branches are operating in a stable manner, Borys said, adding that the bank is yet to decide on their fate as the current legal situation is very complex.
