Orange Polska & mBank ink deal on mobile banking

Telco Orange Polska, the Polish unit of France's Orange and mBank, a unit of Germany's Commerzbank, signed a deal on cooperation on a mobile banking platform, the two firms said in separate market filings.

The offer to provide mobile financial services will be launched in H2 2014, mBank said in a press statement.

According to the deal, the services will be offered under a brand provided by Orange, while mBank will create a special branch for those services.

mBank will be responsible for providing banking services to clients acquired by Orange, mBank market filing said. Orange will be also responsible for marketing.
