Christmas in Polish and French

The Christmas menu at Batida La Boutique in Warsaw features traditional Polish dishes along with a fine selection of specialties from French-speaking countries. If you like Polish cuisine, make sure not to miss Batida’s roast duck with caramelized apples and carp in aspic. You should also try the calzone-like kulebiak stuffed with cabbage and mushrooms, and finish off with gingerbread cake.

Those who appreciate Batida’s Belgian origins and French influences will be happy to indulge in such Christmas delicacies as foie gras, roasted chestnuts and veal ragout. If you have a sweet tooth, we recommend French macarons arranged into a Christmas tree, the log-shaped Bûche de Noël cake and the galette cake that is traditionally baked for the feast of the Epiphany with a tiny porcelain doll inside.
