Polish Films for Foreigners

Foreigners living in Warsaw can catch a selection of top Polish films with English subtitles at the Iluzjon movie theater.

The “I Love Polish Cinema” screenings take place in the last week of every month. The movies are hand-picked by film connoisseur Michał Chaciński, a former director of the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. Before each movie, Chaciński briefs audiences in English about the featured movie and the historical context in which it was made.

In January, English-speaking visitors to the Iluzjon will see Dług (The Debt), a compelling drama from 1999 directed by Krzysztof Krauze.

For screening schedules and descriptions of the movies in English go to www.iluzjon.fn.org.pl
