Poles less critical of labor market situation - CBOS poll

Poles remain critical of situation on the labor market, albeit slightly less so than in 2013, with 76% seeing it as negative, down by 8 pps, but with majority expectations now shifting towards stabilization on the labor market, a poll by CBOS pollster showed.

Only a small minority of 4% sees the situation on the labor market as positive, up by 2 pps year on year, while 16%, up 6 pps y/y, perceive it as neutral.

Also perception of outlook for the labor market improved. Now a majority of 54% expects stabilization, 27% deterioration and 11% an improvement. A year ago, almost half, 46%, expected a deterioration, 39% expected stabilization and 8% expected an improvement.

The poll was conducted on March 6-12 on a representative sample of 1,098 persons.
