Ruling PO extends distance from rival PiS in voter support poll

Poland's governing party Civic Platform (PO) enjoyed another slight increase in its voter support, by 2 pps to 28% in April, extending the distance from the main opposition party, conservative Law and Justice (PiS), whose support fell by 3 pps to 21%, the latest survey from the CBOS institute shows.
Support for junior coalition partner Polish People’s Party (PSL) inched up by 1 ppt to 5%, the threshold required for entering the parliament, the poll results showed.
Support for left-wing Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) remained unchanged at 7%.
Twoj Ruch (Your Movement), the new incarnation of the leftist-liberal Palikot Movement, suffered a further decline in its voter support to a mere 1%.
