No need to hike tax to cut deficit - Finance Minister
April 14, 2014
Poland need not resort to any significant increase in tax rates to meet deficit goals, as set by the European Commission, Finance Minister Mateusz Szczurek told reporters on Friday.
"I would also expect lower increases - if any at all - in excise tax in 2015," he said.
No tax hikes will be necessary to meet European Commission expectations concerning public finance deficit, Szczurek said.
