Poland's C/A deficit narrows in February – central bank

Poland recorded a current account deficit of EUR 572 million in February versus a EUR 547.1 million deficit expected and versus the January deficit of EUR 825 million, according to central bank NBP figures released Friday.
Poland sported a trade surplus of EUR 179 million in February.
Exports of goods increased by 3.4% year on year to EUR 12.77 billion. Imports grew by 5.6% year on year to EUR 12.59 billion.
Poland sported a surplus on services of EUR 456 million, a negative balance on income of EUR 1.22 billion and a positive balance of current transfers at EUR 17 million.
