The University of Social Sciences is the largest private university in Poland, offering an ever growing range of studies. Its majors provide students and graduates with solid knowledge and the practical skills they will need on the highly competitive labor markets in Poland, Europe and around the world.

The rapid changes in the global economy make it vital for universities to constantly improve their teaching standards, conduct research, collaborate with business, and make their mark abroad.

The University of Social Sciences, based in the central city of £ód¼ and with branch campuses in Warsaw, Cracow and other cities in Poland, works with more than 100 universities and institutions around the world, taking part in student and staff exchange programs and joining in international research projects. One of its international projects is a program provided jointly with Clark University in the United States. Launched in 2003, this is the largest American academic program in Poland, enabling students in Warsaw, Cracow, £ód¼ and London to obtain both American and European master’s degrees.

The Clark University program in Poland is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. The University of Social Sciences conforms to the high teaching standards that Polish universities have to meet to be granted the right to teach programs equivalent to those available at U.S. universities. Students of the University of Social Sciences are also given an opportunity to broaden their horizons by studying in the United States as part of the program.

Since 2009 the University of Social Sciences has also provided an MBA program, based on its master’s program. Graduates obtain a Polish MBA degree and a Master of Science in Professional Communication from Clark University.

In recent years, university students from different corners of the world have been increasingly interested in studying in Poland. Interest has been particularly strong among students from outside the EU, who see Poland as a country where they can get a solid education that is recognized across Europe and around the world.

Addressing those students’ needs, the University of Social Sciences offers a number of bachelor’s, master’s and Ph.D. programs in English, in addition to its MBA program and Clark University’s master’s program. The most popular majors among foreign students include International Business Management, Finance and Accounting, Physiotherapy, Journalism and New Media, and Computer Science and IT.

I am confident that studying at the University of Social Sciences is a perfect way for students to pursue their academic passions, obtain an education in fields that promise to be of key significance in the economy of the 21st century and gain international experience, which is a priceless asset on the labor market.
