Rulling PO 4 pps behind opposition PiS in European election polls

Poland's governing party Civic Platform (PO) enjoyed an increase in its voter support in the upcoming elections to the European Parliament to 27% in April, up by 2 pps from the prior month, while the main rival Law and Justice (PiS) managed to strengthen its leading position as its support rose to 31% from 27%, a survey by pollster TNS Polska showed.

The European Parliament election will be held on May 25, 2014.

Left-wing Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) sported 8% support (down by 1 ppt m/m), junior coalition partner Polish People’s Party (PSL) 4%, down 1 ppt, and liberal left-wing party Your Movement - 3% support (down by 2 pps), the survey showed.
