International Monodrama Festival
June 3, 2015
Article's tools:

Warsaw’s Syrena Theater is June 15-21 hosting the third United Solo Europe festival, which showcases monodramas from around the world.

United Solo Europe is the European version of the world’s largest monodrama festival. It brings together performing artists, most of whom are rarely seen in Poland or who have never staged their monodramas in this country before. The event aims to introduce audiences to actors from different corners of the world and highlight the latest trends in monodrama. The festival organizers say United Solo Europe fosters international integration while helping audiences and performers explore their national identity.

In addition to performances, the festival will comprise workshops for students from Polish drama schools, led by performers from abroad.
